Product Description

LW520×1290BP-N Industrial Decanter Centrifuge for Drilling Mud Treatment and Barite Recovery

The LW520×1290BP-N decanter centrifuge is developed for continuous drilling fluid treatment and efficient removal of fine solids down to approximately 2–5 μm. With a 520 mm diameter bowl and 1290 mm bowl length, the unit can operate at speeds of up to 2300 RPM, generating high centrifugal force for effective solids separation and barite recovery. With proper operating conditions, the system can recover over 90% of barite, helping improve mud reuse and reduce fluid-related operating expenses.

Suitable for shale gas, high-pressure wells, and demanding drilling applications, the centrifuge provides flexible operating parameters to accommodate variations in mud density and solids concentration. The bowl and scroll differential speed can be adjusted up to 40 RPM, enabling operators to fine-tune the separation process and achieve the desired balance between liquid clarification and solids dryness.

A 55 kW main motor and 15 kW auxiliary motor provide reliable driving power for continuous high-volume drilling mud processing. The integrated VFD control system allows precise adjustment of operating speed and provides controlled acceleration and deceleration. Real-time monitoring of bowl speed, motor current, and torque enables operators to quickly respond to changes in drilling conditions and maintain stable centrifuge performance.

The LW520×1290BP-N offers a maximum processing capacity of 70 m³/h, making it suitable for large-scale drilling fluid management. The main motor is rated at 1480 RPM, while the auxiliary motor operates at 970 RPM. With dimensions of 3280 × 1725 × 1780 mm, the compact equipment layout facilitates installation and integration into existing drilling fluid solids control systems.
